His Career...

After graduated in his masters, Sheikh Muszaphar then he worked as a medical officer and a university medical officer in medicine at the Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM). In 1998, Sheikh Muszaphar worked at Hospital Seremban, followed by a move to Kuala Lumpur General Hospital in 1999, and was on staff at Hospital Selayang from 2000 through 2001.

In addition, he is the co-owner for Rebung Restaurant with Chef Ismail at Bangsar Park. For your additional  information, Chef Ismail is a chef celebrity in Malaysia which I bet all of you know him. Besides, Sheikh Muszaphar is also the first Malaysian astronaut into space after announced by Dato 'Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi on 25 September 2007 which is on Tuesday at 12.00 pm. Apart from that, he is a speaker and also a model in many commercials such as Ikea, HSBC, Fair & Lovely, Febreeze, Indocafe and Dettol. Well, he is a good looking man so no wonder if he become a model for many commercials. 

Frankly speaking, i think he is a hot guy. Look at the picture above, aaaaaaaaaaah, im melting !

·         Educational Background : He was born on 27 Julai 1972 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and received his early education at St Paul’s National School in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Then he successfully completed high school education in Maktab Rendah Sains MARA in Muar. The third of five siblings then studying in Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, India, in A-level and undergraduate MBBS and then make masters in orthopedics at the Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM), Malaysia.

Objectives Of The Blog...

Hello everyone, I am Engku Noraini Engku Alam, a Diploma in English Communication student from Kolej Profesional Mara Indera Mahkota, Kuantan Pahang. I am currently in Semester 5 and for this semester, I have been assigned by my Digital and Mobile Communication lecturer, Madam Nur Nubailah Md Zahir to create a blog and post entries about Malaysian Achievement and for this topic, I have choose our first astronaut who is Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al Masrie. The objectives for this blog are :

i)   To give more information about Malaysia’s first astronaut to people all around the world. As they read this blog, they will know more about Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar from his various angles.  

ii)  To make people realize about the contributions of Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor towards Malaysia. As he is the first astronaut of Malaysia, he brings an honor to Malaysia by putting Malaysia in line with other countries. 

iii) To make Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor as a source of inspiration to others. He can inspire more people to emulate the spirit of his success, his determination and also his good attitude which is always think positive in any situations.
